PCI Compliance: CORE provides PCI compliant systems.
Of major importance in today’s world, is the enhanced level of security provided by the CORE system. Unlike your existing site, all communications from the card readers, kiosk and POS, are encrypted and secure. Everything on the CORE network is encrypted at the source, as everything passing credit card data must be by a PCI compliant device (not just the network). We use Monetra by Main Street Softworks as our credit card middleware, either operating from CORE Headquarters, or from a server at your site. Further, CORE’s E-Bank code leads the entire industry in stability and performance.

The Process
CORE will convert the operation of a client’s facility to operate under the CORE cashless system utilizing your existing card readers and POS hardware previously provided by others, such as Ideal Software System.
We will not be using any of the software of the previous system.
Card Reader Details:
Even if your site has a mixture of 1 and 2 button card readers from Ideal, we can put them on the CORE network.
Although the two Ideal readers (one and two button) are different from each other, we have found a way to make them respond uniformly per the CORE standard of operation. Even functions that Ideal could not make work properly will now function properly under the CORE software. All of CORE’s reader functions are supported, including our Multi-Time capability, Entitlements, E-Ticket (ticket less) play, and all command codes. If the Ideal readers were originally wired and configured properly, there will be no need for your site tech to visit each reader.

Servers, Firewall, and UPS.
Generally the servers provided by Ideal should be replaced when converting a site if they are over 2 years old. Keep the old server for old reports. Buy some new servers and upgrade your firewall. Security and stability is everything! Replace your UPS batteries. CORE uses a twin server approach - one does the work, and the second is ready to takeover in an instant.
Kiosk
Some of the units built by Ideal were x#*@, as you know, and we can’t do anything with them. If you have the newer unit - we can convert them, but need to replace the card dispenser and add a PCI encrypted controller.
