Discount Coupons with Secure Barcodes: Media coupons are one of the biggest areas of employee theft and fraud - - adding barcodes to your coupons means cashiers can only invoke the special discount by scanning a valid barcode. CORE Reports provide, in real-time, the number of each discount deal sold, by cashier, so you can audit your cashiers’ sales of these valuable discount coupons. CORE will give you the barcodes to include on your media coupons - - easy, secure, auditable!

Date-Specific Discounts: CORE gives you full control of your discounts, by allowing you to specify the “start date” and “end date” for each discount promotion. The system will not allow a cashier to use a coupon outside its valid date range.

Single-Use Barcoded Coupons and Certificates: With CORE, you can generate uniquely-barcoded coupons or certificates for distribution of discounted deals for consignments, trade, or charity events. These coupons are “single-use”, which means they are no longer valid after the first use. Single use barcodes are the most effective method to eliminate discount fraud.

“Class” Specific Discounts: Some discounts are only intended for a certain class of guests, perhaps those who have joined your membership program. By scanning their member card, either at POS or at a Kiosk, these class members will be automatically offered discounted deals to which they are entitled. Employees may be offered discounts on food; these discounts are easily and automatically accommodated in CORE by having the employee scan his employee card to elicit the discount benefit.

Discount Allocation: CORE Point of Sale allows discounts to be tagged back to a specific department or sponsoring person. Reports can then be generated to show which departments should be charged for the discounts given.
